Meg Dooley, Conscious Practitioner
Meg is passionate about empowering herself and others to heal. She believes that to heal is to bring harmony and balance to all four belief areas--physical, mental, emotional and spiritual--with the guidance of the divine and our higher selves. Healing brings us closer to our true or natural selves and the natural cycles of the universe. She enjoys studying and working in multiple modalities and traditions, learning their methods and philosophies. Meg’s work with clients draws on her studies and practices to create specialized and integrated treatments to best serve the greater good of her clients.
She attended massage school at the Crestone Healing Arts Center in Crestone, CO where she studied Chinese 5-element theory, Japanese acupressure, shiatsu, reflexology and various massage modalities. Meg also received training in Reiki, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, herbology, the I Ching and the Enneagram. She has practiced yoga for many years, more recently training in chi gong and kundalini yoga, and completed her yoga teacher training program through Yoga Durango in 2015. She also has gained certification in Angelic Reiki, attuned to the advanced level, and will be embarking on a plant and herbalist apprenticeship in 2016. She is also passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and motherhood. She is a trained doula through DONA International and a trained Infant Massage Instructor through IAIM. She has ongoing passion for learning more about all of these areas as well as ayurveda, nutrition, ceremony, sacred art and music. She has her BA in Religious Studies from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.
Meg is a licensed massage therapist (LMT), 200-hr Yoga teacher, and an angelic reiki advanced practitioner (ART). She currently lives in Durango, CO with her husband and future cat.
